External Relations Directorate We have built an integrated multi-award-winning External Relations Directorate that has brought together several teams including Brand & Marketing, Communications & Public Relations, Corporate Engagement & Advancement, Student Recruitment & Conversion (home and international), Admissions, Outreach & Access, and Design and Digital.  We are looking for leaders who will be part of embedding an innovative practice and a digital first mindset within our External Relations Directorate. Together, we aim to cultivate a culture of 'continuous next', staying updated with emerging technologies and best practice across the sector.  Job Purpose The Lead Partnership Officer is responsible for developing, managing and growing strategic partnerships with schools, colleges and educational organisations that support the University of East London's student recruitment, access and participation, and institutional growth objectives. The post holder will play a key role in delivering the University's Further Education (FE) Strategy by developing sustainable recruitment pipelines, strengthening progression pathways, and increasing applications, offers and enrolments from priority schools and colleges. Working collaboratively across Recruitment, Marketing, Admissions, Academic Schools, Student Ambassadors and Outreach colleagues, the post holder will design and deliver a programme of recruitment-focused engagement activity that promotes UEL's Careers First proposition and supports prospective students throughout their decision-making journey. Whilst supporting the University's Access and Participation Plan commitments, the primary focus of the role will be the development of strategic recruitment partnerships and student pipeline growth. About You You are an experienced recruitment, outreach, schools liaison or partnership professional with a strong understanding of the UK education sector and the factors influencing progression to higher education. You have a proven track record of building successful relationships with schools, colleges and educational stakeholders and are confident engaging with students, teachers, careers advisers and senior leadership teams. You are commercially aware and understand how partnership activity can contribute to student recruitment objectives. You are comfortable using data and insight to identify opportunities, evaluate impact and inform decision-making. We are seeking to appoint a part-time Teaching Fellow to contribute to teaching in Sociology of Education and/or Critical Studies in Education within the Southampton Education School. This post provides teaching cover, ensuring the continuation of high-quality teaching across undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. About the Role The successful candidate will support the delivery, development and assessment of teaching and learning. This will include contributing to lectures, seminars and tutorials, setting and marking assessments, and providing feedback to students. The postholder will also act as a Personal Academic Tutor and may supervise and assess postgraduate dissertations. You will contribute to curriculum delivery and enhancement, working collaboratively with colleagues to support an inclusive and research-informed learning environment. About You You will have (or be close to completing) a PhD in Education, Sociology or a closely related discipline, alongside experience of teaching in higher education. You should demonstrate: Subject knowledge in Sociology of Education and/or Critical Studies in Education Experience of delivering engaging and inclusive teaching at UG and/or PGT levels Experience in assessment and providing feedback to students at UG and/or PGT levels Experience of supporting students, through personal tutoring or postgraduate supervision Ability to contribute to curriculum development and enhancement at UG and/or PGT levels Experience of engagement with scholarship of teaching and learning would be advantageous. He/she will oversee R&D activities related to OLED emitters and devices, providing technical guidance and leadership to optimize device performance and efficiency, as well as developing prototypes for wearable devices. In November 2024, the University of Hong Kong LKS Faculty of Medicine (HKUMed) was appointed as the operator of GBAICTI. In December 2025, the Real-World Study and Application Centre (RWSAC) was established under GBAICTI to open up local health and medical databases and promote collaboration between Hong Kong and other GBA cities. We are now seeking a high-calibre professional to join the RWSAC (located at Hetao Shenzhen-Hong Kong Science and Technology Innovation Cooperation Zone) as Chief Data Scientist. Duties and Responsibilities Manage, process, and analyse complex real-world healthcare datasets to generate insights and evidence. Develop and implement data pipelines for the ingestion, curation, and transformation of RWD into the common data model. Conduct advanced statistical analyses and epidemiological studies on RWD. Collaborate with the Research Coordinators and Project Managers to define analysis plans and ensure data quality for specific projects. Prepare analysis datasets, reports, and visualisations for both internal stakeholders and external clients/sponsors. Requirements Ph.D. degree or above in Epidemiology, Data Science, Statistics, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related disciplines. A minimum of 3 years’ experience in epidemiology, data science, data analysis, or data management field. Proficiency in analytics tools such as Python, SQL, and R Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese (including both Cantonese and Putonghua). Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and/or an interview.
