Sulkhan-Saba Orbeliani University

Sulkhan-Saba Orbeliani University was established in 2001, originally as an Institute of Philosophy, Theology, History and Culture. 

The university received further accreditation in 2009 and expanded its academic offering to now hosting 10 academic undergraduate faculties. These include law, business administration, business administration in English, tourism, theology, international relations, political science, sociology, psychology and English philology. 

There are also seven graduate faculties including law, business administration, public administration, theology, eastern Europe foreign policy and security, child and adolescent psychology and human resource management and three PhD programmes including law, public administration and theology.

The university offers individual career consultations to provide students with advice and guidance on writing cover letters, preparing for interviews and developing a career plan. The university has also formed partnerships with the public and provate sector to facilite student internships. 

There is a Student Affairs Manager who provides guidance and support for all students. Services for students includes group and individual counselling sessions, scholarship programmes, job vacancies, orientation programmes for international students and recreational and educational activities. 

The university conducts research in a range of areas including theology and religious studies, law, business administration, social and political sciences and education studies. 

The universiry publishes five academic journals.
