About Stratford University

Stratford University is a modern private institution spread across the Eastern states of Virginia and Maryland. The university’s main campus is in Falls Chuch, just 10 miles west of Washington D.C., the nation’s capital, 50 miles south west of Baltimore, Maryland, and 100 miles north of Virginia’s state capital of Richmond.

Stratford also owns campuses in Glen Allen, Virginia Beach, Newport News, Alexandria, Woodbridge (all Virginia), and Baltimore’s Little Italy quarter. Its Baltimore branch overlooks the Patapsco River and houses certain culinary arts courses as well as a notable proportion of student accommodation and study spaces, while the Woodbridge campus is the most ecologically advanced, using green technology. It mostly focuses on nursing, health sciences and culinary arts. Additionally, the university now has a campus in New Delhi to deliver American-style education in business administration, information technology, cyber security and software engineering. Stratford has had a presence in the Indian capital since 2009.

The university places great importance on preparing its students for professional careers, and incorporates internships into a number of courses. As well as offering more than 20 different undergraduate programmes, Stratford confers master’s degrees in subjects such as accounting, international hospitality management, nursing and healthcare administration. There are also distance learning, evening and weekend classes available, making Stratford’s educational provision accessible to a wider group of people.

Stratford’s computer science, culinary arts, business and management courses are its most popular. The majority of those who study at the university live off campus.
