About the Job The Residential Life General Assistant supports the effective day to day management of the University of East London’s Halls of Residence. This role helps ensure our accommodation is safe and welcoming by assisting with estate operations, health and safety compliance, and customer service delivery. You will be involved in a wide range of responsibilities, from providing portering services, troubleshooting white-good faults, facilitating access and room set-ups, maintaining high standards of health and safety through inspections and delivering excellent customer service. Working as part of a customer-focused team, you will play an important role in enhancing the student and guest experience, supporting compliance with standards such as the UUK Code of Practice, and ensuring our residences remain a positive and vibrant place to live and learn.
