Ihr persönlicher Spielraum: This position is part of the “Algorithms and Optimization” group, led by Prof. Gramoz Goranci, within the “Theory and Applications of Algorithms’”research group at the Faculty of Computer Science. Our research focuses broadly on algorithm design and its connections to optimization, graph theory, and the foundations of machine learning. Recent work has centered on developing fast, dynamic algorithms for both classical and emerging large-scale problems, with an emphasis on rigorous theoretical guarantees and, in some cases, high-performance implementations. We draw on techniques from combinatorial data structures, graph algorithms, spectral graph theory, and metric embeddings, combining these tools to address fundamental challenges in modern algorithm design.
