We are seeking an Animal Technician to provide animal husbandry services and support the daily operations of the ANZAC animal facility. The role involves ensuring animal welfare compliance, managing facility supplies, overseeing contractor onsite operations, and supporting the effective operation of research animal environments. Your key responsibilities will be to: provide animal husbandry services, ensuring animal welfare standards and regulatory compliance complete routine animal husbandry tasks, including cage changing, health monitoring, cage preparation and cleaning provide technical assistance where required or directed and be able to operate facility equipment. ensure the accuracy of animal records and communicate any animal welfare concerns and provide assistance in resolving these as directed.
