The Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra is a public university in Nitra, Slovakia. It offers bachelor's, master's and doctoral degrees in six facilities. The university was founded in 1952.

These facilities include agrobiology and food resources; biotechnology and food sciences; economics and management; agricultural engineering; European studies and regional development and horticulture and landscape engineering.

Learning foreign languages is also prioritised at the university with students having the opportunity to learn English, French, German, Russian, Spanish, and Slovak.

The university cultivates close relationships with the local and regional community.

The university is part of many study abroad programmes including Erasmus+, Jean Monnet, CEEPUS, and the Fulbright Commission among others. It also has partnerships with a number of universities across the world to facilitate staff and student exchanges.

Students are encouraged to undertake internships and are awarded a certain number of credits for doing so. Students are able to go to the University Farm in Kolíňany for practical training or can work at the university's botanical garden. The botanical garden has an area of 28 hectares and its collections include numerous tropical, subtropical and temperate plants.

The University Sports Centre is home to a multipurpose gym, 25-metre indoor swimming pool, aerobic studio, fitness centre, tennis courts and beach volleyball courts. Students can choose to participate in various sports activities including basketball, volleyball, aerobics, yoga, swimming, tennis, table tennis, canoeing and body building.

Current research projects at the university include animal welfare research in an enlarged Europe and exploring the future of global food and nutrition security among others.
