SKEMA Business School was formed as a non-profit organisation in 2009 through the merging of two French schools: Groupe ESC Lille and CERAM Business School, which were founded in 1892 and 1963 respectively. The school operates various campuses internationally: in Lille and Paris in France; in Sophia Antipolis near Nice; Suzhou in China; Belo Horizonte in Brazil; and in Raleigh, North Carolina in the US, in association with North Carolina State University. It also plans to expand to Australia, India and Russia. The Lille campus has about 2,200 students over 16,000 square metres. It is partnered with the Lille 2 University of Health, with which it has joint programmes. The Nice campus is located in the Sophia Antipolis technology park and has a partnership with Science Po Aix, offering joint programmes that allow business students to study political sciences. The name, SKEMA, comes from the Greek word skhêma, meaning shape, figure or formation of an object, and is also an acronym for School of Knowledge Economy and Management. SKEMA offers a BBA in global management, various masters including an MBA that can be done full-time in 12 months or part-time in 24 months, and doctoral and executive education programmes internationally - in China, France, Brazil and in the US. There are two doctoral programmes taught in English, in management science and in strategy, programme and project management. The MBA is also taught in English, aimed at those with a minimum of three years business experience.

Work that matters The Field Laboratory Assistant will support the Weeds Research Group at the Waite Campus, contributing to research that aims to reduce the impact of herbicide resistant weeds on Australian grain producers. Description The Center for Brain and Health (CBH) (https://brainandhealth.org/) at New York University Abu Dhabi (NYUAD) is seeking a Research Scientist to explore scientific questions related to an in-progress normative brain database. The Research Scientist will be a key member of a multidisciplinary team responsible for collection, c, MEG, EEG, and eye tracking. The tentpole of the CBH is a normative brain database - the first of its kind in the region - that includes structural, functional, and diffusion MRI, behavioral and health measures, genetic information, and lifestyle questionnaires Candidates must hold a Ph.D. in Neuroscience, Psychology, MR Physics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field. Postdoctoral experience or equivalent is preferred. This position requires extensive experience with multimodal MRI, including functional and structural MRI and tractography. Experience with big data analysis techniques is essential. Experience working with other large brain databases is preferred. Description The Center for Sand Hazards and Opportunities in Resilience, Energy, and Sustainability (SHORES) and the Division of Engineering, New York University Abu Dhabi, seek to recruit a Post-Doctoral Associate to work on a fascinating project focused on the geomechanical modeling for energy applications. The position will be directly supervised by Professor Mostafa Mobasher and will involve strong collaboration with the SHORES multidisciplinary research teams. The project will be focused on advanced modeling of coupled fracture/damage of geomechanical materials when subjected a range of multiphysical loading regimes including hydraulic, thermal, and chemical processes. The direct applications of these research will be aimed at enhanced modeling of hydraulic fracturing and carbon sequestration. The project activities will involve the development of the theory and implementation of the advanced mechanics and numerical models as well as constitutive model calibration and validation based on physical experimental data. Required Qualifications: A successful applicant must have a PhD in Engineering Mechanics, Civil Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering. Applicants are expected to demonstrate research experience in the fields of computational mechanics and computational geomechanics.
