The Infocomm Technology (ICT) Cluster (Department) The ICT cluster is the largest cluster in SIT in by student intake. Our cluster moulds electronic and computer engineers, computer scientists, AI engineers, interactive media and game development experts, software engineers, and information security specialists. We invite applications for Lecturer and Senior Lecturer positions. This role focuses primarily on teaching and student development, contributing to SIT’s applied learning approach. We welcome passionate educators, preferably having good relevant industry experience, who are committed to nurturing the next generation of professionals in areas such as: Information Security: Mobile security, cyber-physical systems, security analytics, digital forensics, malware analysis, vulnerability assessment, privacy technologies, and AI security. Computer Science and Software Engineering: Software development lifecycle (SDLC), requirement analysis, design, testing, performance optimisation, databases, computer graphics, distributed systems, computer vision, and multimedia analytics. AI and Emerging Fields: Industrial IoT, computational fintech, robot-human interaction, trustworthy AI, explainable AI, large language models, future communications/5G, and quantum computing. Key Responsibilities: Facilitate and conduct all teaching assignments for undergraduate and graduate students and continuous education programmes. Develop teaching materials and applied learning experiences that are relevant to industry needs and practices, and implement modern pedagogies. Mentor and advise students on academic and career development. Supervise student projects and applied learning projects. Contribute to curriculum design, innovation, and continuous programme improvement. Participate in educational initiatives and activities to enhance student learning outcomes. Requirements: A PhD or a Master’s degree (with significant industry experience) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Security, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field from a reputable university. A strong passion for teaching and student engagement. A strong interest in student learning and engagement, and keen to adopt flipped classroom methods, team-based learning, and assessment for learning. Demonstrated teaching excellence, or relevant experience in industry-based education and training. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Industry experience or professional certifications relevant to your teaching areas will be an advantage. Familiarity with applied learning, competency-based education, or work-integrated learning will be an advantage. Job Purpose The Research Fellow / Research Engineer (with focus on Healthcare Design and Business) will support applied research and innovation in community and allied health by translating health-related workflow needs, user insights and business requirements into practical service-design outputs, implementation plans, value propositions and evidence reports. The role focuses on healthcare design, business scoping, project coordination and implementation support for healthcare projects. This role is focused on Healthcare Design and Business. The candidate should have a deep understanding of health-related workflows and experience coordinating project implementation with clear outcomes delivered. The Research Fellow / Research Engineer will support academic staff and project leads, and contribute his/her assigned share to team-level KPI targets through practical design, business and implementation outputs. Key Responsibilities Applied Research & Development Perform clinical needs assessment, user research, service-journey mapping and workflow analysis for organisational innovation transition, focusing on but not limited to community and aged care settings, nursing homes, hospitals, home-based care and palliative care settings. Develop healthcare service-design concepts, business requirements and implementation roadmaps for organisational transition, focusing on but not limited to caregiver workload reduction, care-process redesign, adoption planning and care automation support. Support healthcare innovation projects by coordinating user feedback, pilot planning, implementation activities, data collection and outcome documentation for Proof of Concept (POC) and deployment in community-care or healthcare settings. Industry Collaboration Support collaborations with industry and healthcare partners to understand workflow pain points, user needs, business requirements and implementation constraints, and contribute to practical solution development. Project Execution & Support Assist Professional Officers, faculty and project leads in planning, coordinating and executing assigned healthcare design, business and implementation workstreams, including timeline tracking, documentation and follow-up on deliverables linked to the committed KPI areas: service volume, innovation initiatives, value capture, manpower training and ecosystem establishment. Generate project reports, presentations, service maps, user-journey documentation, business-case inputs, implementation trackers and evidence documentation on the development, validation, deployment and value capture of healthcare solutions and applications. Contribute to grant proposals and project submissions where required. Track project progress and maintain proper documentation of milestones, deliverables, risks/issues, partner inputs, funding status and measurable outcomes for assigned projects. Support the IaaS Center for Community and Allied Health Innovation in achieving team-level KPI outcomes through assigned design, business, implementation documentation and project support tasks. Description We are inviting applications for a Post-Doctoral Associate in the Division of Social Science at NYU Abu Dhabi from individuals who have or will soon receive a PhD in demography, epidemiology, public health, or a related discipline in the social sciences. The appointment will begin September 1, 2026, subject to final budget approval and is available for up to three years. The post-doctoral associate will spend half their time on independent research, and half their time on collaborative research with Professor Stéphane Helleringer. The collaborative research will be on population health and its determinants in low-and-middle-income countries, with an emphasis on measurement issues and the impact of crises such as epidemics and disasters. The job entails conducting high-quality research on population health and its determinants in low-and-middle-income countries. This includes conceptualizing research questions, designing empirical studies, collecting or acquiring new data sets, and analyzing these data using advanced statistical models and visualization techniques. The job also emphasizes the dissemination of knowledge about population health, particularly through the preparation of peer-reviewed manuscripts, software packages and/or participation in international conferences. Candidates must hold a PhD in demography, epidemiology, public health or related discipline in the social sciences. The ideal candidate is preferred to have prior experience with data collection and collaboration in low-and-middle-income countries and good knowledge of R or other software for data management, analysis and visualization. Candidates will contribute to industry-relevant research in embodied AI, simulation and digital twins, cybersecurity, robot operations and related areas, with a strong emphasis on translation into real-world applications. Through collaborations with leading robot companies and end-users, faculty will help solve practical deployment challenges, build shared digital infrastructure, and train the next generation of robotics talent for Singapore’s future economy. Responsibilities: Lead and contribute to applied research projects with industry partners and government agencies. Develop and teach Robotics and Embodied AI courses within the cluster’s programmes and across relevant interdisciplinary modules.
