Founded in 1949, Shinshu University is a national university in Japan consisting of 8 undergraduate faculties and 6 graduate schools spread across 5 campuses over Nagano Prefecture. Nagano is well known for its rich natural resources and stunning landscapes. "Shinshu", the endearing former name of the Nagano region, is one of the world's most popular tourist destinations.
