Semnan University of Medical Sciences and Health Sciences was established in 1988. It is a public university located in Semnan, a city in northern Iran. There are four schools at the university: school of medicine, school of dentistry, school of rehabilitation services, and the school of nursing and midwifery. There is also the Damghan School of Health, the Sorkheh Paramedical School, and the Aradan School of Nutrition and Food Sciences. In 2019 the university launched its international campus to welcome exchange students from other higher education institutions around the world. It has developed partnerships with universities in countries such as Russia, Germany, Bangladesh, France, India and Switzerland. It also has a number of national partners including Isfahan University of Medical Sciences and Mazandaran University of Medical Sciences. Throughout the year the university carries out research across the field of medicine. It is home to a number of centres that facilitate this research such as the Neuromuscular Rehabilitation Research Centre, the Nervous System Stem Cells Research Centre, and the Cancer Research Centre. The university publishes its research findings in two journals: the Middle East Journal of Rehabilitation and Health and the Koomesh Journal of Semnan University of Medical Sciences. Both of these journals are published quarterly and are supervised by the Ministry of Health and Medical Education of Iran.

Within MU, the Faculty of Medicine is a prestigious educational and research institution that cooperates with important external partners not only in the area of research in Brno. The CREATIC Centre of Excellence of the Faculty of Medicine of Masaryk University in Brno was established on 1 January 2024 and focuses on research and development of cell and gene therapy for selected rare diseases. The CZECRIN Large Research Infrastructure (LRI) is a Czech national infrastructure supporting the clinical research and a Czech national node of the European Network of Clinical Research Infrastructures ECRIN-ERIC. Within CZECRIN, we are involved in the development of innovative new products in a number of areas, conduct national and international clinical research projects and work closely with clinical sites in our country and across the EU. We are currently looking for a new member to join our CZECRIN Clinical Trial Monitors team, whose task is to ensure the smooth running of clinical trials and to ensure that the trials run exactly as planned and in accordance with the applicable regulations. The scope of your work will be:  Supporting the project manager in planning, organising and conducting clinical trials. Supporting and working closely with the centres and the sponsor of the clinical trial. Preparation and processing of relevant documents with full responsibility for the assigned projects. Regular monitoring within the Czech Republic and supervision of the clinical centres, preparation and execution of the initiation visit and the closure visit. Control and compliance with prescribed trial rules, maintenance of clinical trial documentation and archiving of documents. Identification and subsequent resolution of protocol deviations, discrepancies and non-compliance. Preparation of monitoring visit reports and follow-up. Required qualification: University degree (pharmacy, medicine, natural sciences). Orientation in clinical trials and experience with similar position an advantage. Diligence, detail and systematic work, independence, time flexibility and ability to organize work effectively. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Good PC skills (MS Office). Excellent knowledge of the Czech language in both written and verbal form. Very good knowledge of English language (written and verbal). The position The Lecturer – Photomedia is primarily responsible for teaching and supervision at all levels within the degree programs of the National Art School (NAS), including the development of appropriate teaching resources and related course administration within the Photomedia department. The role also requires a broad contribution to NAS operations including participation in School committees, events, student recruitment and promotional activities. Academic faculty employed at this level are expected to be professionally active within their field of specialisation and are expected to make a significant contribution to practice, scholarship and teaching in their discipline at a national level. What you bring to the role Postgraduate qualifications at AQF Level 10, or equivalent professional experience, are required. A strong record and current profile of artistic practice in contemporary art within Photomedia is essential, demonstrated through exhibitions, scholarly activity, or national‑level publication. The role requires a deep understanding of the expanded field of Photomedia, encompassing still and moving image practices, analogue and digital processes, and interdisciplinary forms. Current working knowledge of industry‑standard software and digital workflows is expected, along with the ability to apply these effectively in studio teaching, curriculum delivery, and student support. The position also calls for the capability to embed historical, theoretical, and critical context within studio‑based learning.
