Santosh Deemed to be University’s origins date back to 1995 when it was established as a medical institution in Ghaziabad.

Since 1996, Santosh has been offering an MBBS course, and in 2005 the course gained recognition from the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare and the Government of India.

Santosh offers a foundation course in BDS and has done since 1996. Across all of its courses, the institution has an inter-disciplinary focus through organ-based teaching, inter-disciplinary programmes such as Forensic Odontology, and research in areas such as stem cell banking and cryopreservation.

Stimulation labs and field immersion programmes are used to develop clinical and specialist skills among students.

Santosh students also benefit from its 800-bed hospital located in the centre of Ghaziabad. Delivering care at subsidised rates, students will learn in an accessible healthcare environment.

Outside of their studies, Santosh students can take advantage of the range of extracurricular activities on campus. The "AURA" annual event showcases a range of in-house sports competitions for students to train for throughout the year.

Santosh offers male and female residences with a range of services and experiences. These fully-furnished hostels have dining areas, fitness areas, lounge rooms, and entertainment spaces.

About us The Department of Psychosis Studies is the world’s leading department for research into psychotic disorders by high impact publications. It is part of the IoPPN; the largest academic community in Europe devoted to the study and prevention of mental illness and brain disease. The IoPPN produces more highly cited outputs (top 1% citations) on psychiatry and mental health than any other centre (SciVal 2021). The IoPPN's greatest strength is the interdisciplinary nature of both its research strategy and educational activities, providing unique opportunities for students and staff. About the role The postholder will join exciting new studies in the group. These include testing the synaptic hypothesis of psychosis and the role of excitation-inhibition balance in psychotic disorders and testing how the first non-D2 antipsychotics work. The studies involve in vivo imaging with cutting edge PET and fMRI techniques and clinical trials. The postholders will be responsible for recruitment and clinical assessment of participants with psychosis, including clinical rating scales and delivering a high level of care to research participants. They will be responsible for organising and acquiring imaging and other measures and producing scoping literature reviews. The postholders will be responsible for ensuring high quality research governance across projects, helping to analyse, interpret and publish the results of projects, as well as helping to support students who will be working on the projects. The postholders will be responsible for maintaining accurate records within a database that can be shared with members of the wider research team. They are also responsible for organising and overseeing weekly case and control tracking meetings, as well as quarterly steering group meetings. The postholders will be responsible for ensuring effective collaborative relationships with other research worders on the project, as well as with local clinical services and researchers on other related projects. The postholders will be responsible for contributing to knowledge exchange and dissemination activities such as organising and participating in scientific meetings and to support all other aspects of the projects as required. There will also be opportunities to get clinical experience. This is a full time (40 hours per week) however the department can consider part-time applications. You will be offered a fixed term contract for 1 year (with the potential to extend/ develop a PhD; subject to funding).  Research staff at King’s are entitled to at least 10 days per year (pro-rata) for professional development. Your working place: The Department of Astrophysics with currently around 90 members is part of the Faculty of Earth Sciences, Geography and Astronomy at the University of Vienna. We are searching for a Senior scientist to contribute to the development of numerical codes used by the Solar System Evolution group and other groups at the department. Our ideal candidate has a scientific background in the evolution of stellar and planetary atmospheres and strong background in computational astrophysics and software development. The job consists of two equally important parts: 1) to contribute to the research in the area of atmospheric evolution with the focus on atmospheric escape and 2) to take the lead in developing and supporting computational tools for atmospheric studies, such as finding the best solvers that can be used in the codes used by the Solar System Evolution and other groups at the department. The position is initially limited to 3 years with possibility to become permanent by mutual agreement. The starting date is as early as February 1st, 2026, but no later than June 1st, 2026. Your future tasks: Active participation in research, teaching & administration, which means: You build an excellent research profile in the field of planetary and stellar atmospheres, and Solar System research.
