Santosh Deemed to be University’s origins date back to 1995 when it was established as a medical institution in Ghaziabad. Since 1996, Santosh has been offering an MBBS course, and in 2005 the course gained recognition from the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare and the Government of India. Santosh offers a foundation course in BDS and has done since 1996. Across all of its courses, the institution has an inter-disciplinary focus through organ-based teaching, inter-disciplinary programmes such as Forensic Odontology, and research in areas such as stem cell banking and cryopreservation. Stimulation labs and field immersion programmes are used to develop clinical and specialist skills among students. Santosh students also benefit from its 800-bed hospital located in the centre of Ghaziabad. Delivering care at subsidised rates, students will learn in an accessible healthcare environment. Outside of their studies, Santosh students can take advantage of the range of extracurricular activities on campus. The "AURA" annual event showcases a range of in-house sports competitions for students to train for throughout the year. Santosh offers male and female residences with a range of services and experiences. These fully-furnished hostels have dining areas, fitness areas, lounge rooms, and entertainment spaces.

We welcome applicants from psychiatry and related fields, in particular genomics, epigenetics, neurobiology, biostatistics and big data analytics. Applicants who adopt multidisciplinary approaches to address key challenges in psychiatry and neuroscience, and with research of high translational potential are particularly encouraged to apply. A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits. At current rates, salaries tax does not exceed 15% of gross income. The role This is a prestigious 5-year fellowship (upto March 2031) funded by AWE Nuclear Security Technologies. The successful candidate will spend around half of their time working with the wider team in AWE's Centre of Excellence (CoE) in Materials Ageing, Performance and Lifetime Prediction. This will include working collaboratively with our six visiting researchers, around 15 Surrey academics and researchers across Engineering and Chemistry, doctoral researchers, and technical staff across the University. You will also join the steering group for the CoE. The role also enables the successful applicant to spend up to half of their time developing their own materials ageing research with a healthy consumables and travel budget to support this. In addition to carrying out research their is an expectation of leadership in terms of supporting the CoE community in research excellence, impact and external academic and industrial engagement. This fellowship will suit a researcher whose education and experience is in materials physics, chemistry, or engineering, but whose can work in a multidisciplinary environment. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working hands‑on with materials and abstracting analysing physical and chemical behaviour for solving materials problems and modelling. The Faculty of Social Sciences invites applications for the position of PROFESSOR / ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR / ASSISTANT PROFESSOR in consumer society research The successful applicant may be appointed to a permanent professorship or a fixed-term associate professorship / assistant professorship (tenure track system), depending on qualifications and career stage. We invite applications from candidates with an internationally recognised track record in research on consumption and consumer society. The appointee is expected to contribute to theoretical and conceptual advancements in understanding consumer society, more specifically the socio-economic implications of consumer culture, the development of new markets, and the evolution of consumption. We welcome applications that situate consumption within the broader transformations of the global political economy. Issues such as geopolitical tensions, industrial policy, debates over strategic autonomy, and the restructuring of global supply chains are increasingly shaping consumer societies. In keeping with the Centre’s national tasks, we value research and public engagement that benefit policymaking, innovation, and the promotion of consumer literacy. Former experience of leading and managing academic work is a significant merit for this appointment. While a successful candidate is expected to have a record of publications addressed to international scholarly audiences, we appreciate the ability to collaborate in an environment in which Finnish or Swedish is the working language. DUTIES The appointee will deliver top-level research-based teaching, supervise theses and dissertations. The appointee is expected to have a demonstrated ability to secure external funding, an international network of relevant research collaboration, and sufficient managerial skills for leading academic work. The position’s teaching includes the development of several new course offerings and an ongoing commitment to make them an inherent part of CCSR’s pedagogical future. The applicant will be expected to take a leadership role in developing consumer studies as part of current or future degree programs. QUALIFICATIONS The successful candidate shall have a doctorate in an applicable social science field. The doctoral degree requirement must be met by the end of the application deadline. An appointee to the position of assistant professor / associate professor in the tenure track system shall hold a doctoral degree and have the ability to conduct independent scholarly work as well as the teaching skills required for the position. In addition, the appointee shall have the capacity and potential to pursue an academic career at a high level, as demonstrated by publications and other means. In assessing the applicants’ qualifications, attention shall be paid to scientific publications and research, teaching experience and qualifications, international experience and collaborations, and success in the acquisition of external research funding. An appointee to the position of professor shall hold a doctoral degree and have high-level academic qualifications; experience in leading scientific research; the ability to provide research-based teaching and supervise dissertations and theses; as well as evidence of international cooperation in the research field they represent. Mikko Niemi’s research group at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Helsinki invites applications for the position of a POSTDOCTORAL RESEARCHER to work in the Food and Drug Security Systems, Profi8 -project, starting as soon as possible or agreed. The employment is fixed term and ends on 31.12.2031. Summary of the project and research group descriptions  The research action Systems of Food and Drug Security (fooDrug) brings together University of Helsinki research across nine different units, to address challenges relating to the production, processing, distribution and use of food and drug products without compromising human safety, health, and cultural and social acceptance. We will enable the development of a more holistic, efficient and safe approach to new food and drugs and related technologies, as exemplified by advances in pharmacogenomics and nanomedicine, novel viral vectors, new food materials, improved food hygiene and enhanced human sensory experience. The postdoctoral researcher will work in Professor Mikko Niemi’s research group, which is internationally recognized for research in clinical pharmacology, pharmacogenetics, and individualized drug therapy. The group is expanding its activities toward AI-driven clinical data analysis, modelling, prediction, and decision-support systems related to pharmacogenomics, food–drug interactions, drug safety, and personalized health. The successful candidate will contribute to developing and applying artificial intelligence and machine learning methods to large-scale clinical, biomedical, pharmacological, and food-related datasets, supporting the goals of the Profi8 profiling area. Contribute to interdisciplinary research combining medicine, pharmacology, food science and data science. Publish research results in high-quality international journals.
