Job Description: Key Duties: Teaching biochemistry and bioinformatics lectures. Creating study materials in Czech and English languages. Contribution to development of study programs, promotion, and popularization of science. Bachelor and Diploma theses supervision. Research in the field of molecular biology and biochemistry. Active participation in scientific conferences, meetings, and presentation of research results. Skills and Qualifications: The applicant must have: PhD degree in Structural biology, Molecular biology or Biochemistry. Teaching experience: at least 5 years of active teaching in the fields of Biochemistry, Biology and Bioinformatics. Successful supervision of Bachelor and Diploma theses, experience with supervision of SPA projects. Good communication skills (oral and written) in English and Czech – ability to teach a lecture in Czech and English language. Conclusive experience in the field of Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, and Structural biology demonstrated by publications in high-quality international journals. Excellent knowledge of basic and advanced methods in molecular and structural biology, combined with bioinformatic approaches. Proven track record of acquiring research funding. Publication activity: at least 20 publications in impact journals, total citations 200 or more. Experience with research work in an international team. Qualifications and requirements Applicants must hold a DVM (or equivalent) or a PhD (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline. The successful candidates will contribute to laboratory-based and didactic teaching in veterinary anatomy and may contribute to other teaching activities in the DVM programme as required. Experience teaching large undergraduate cohorts in a laboratory setting is expected, and candidates should provide evidence of effectiveness in this context.
