SAGE University Indore is a private higher education institution located on the Kailod Kartal Indore Rau bypass road in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, India. It was founded in 2017 by the Sagar Group of Educational Society under the Madhya Pradesh Private University Act.
The campus spans 26 acres and features modern facilities including Wi-Fi-enabled classrooms, advanced laboratories, an amphitheatre, sports grounds, hostels, and dedicated incubation and Apple labs.
SAGE University comprises 15 institutes offering programmes across engineering, architecture, agricultural sciences, arts and humanities, commerce, computer applications, design, journalism, management, sciences, law, pharmaceutical sciences, pharmacy, and performing arts.
The university offers merit-based scholarships. Admissions are conducted through the SAGE Entrance Exam, while scores from national examinations such as JEE Mains, CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT, and GATE are also accepted.

The Singapore Teaching and Academic Research Talent (START) Scheme is co-funded by the Ministry of Education (MOE) and SIT to encourage and support outstanding young Singaporeans interested in pursuing an academic career at SIT. The Applied Research Fellowship aims to provide doctoral candidates who are about to complete or have recently completed their studies an opportunity to engage in advanced training and/or research at an overseas university for one year. Besides financial support, awardees will also receive academic mentorship. Upon completion of the Fellowship, awardees will be considered for Assistant Professorship. Eligibility and Selection Criteria Singapore citizen Doctoral candidates who have recently completed or are about to complete their studies in a discipline under the supported areas for START below Excellent academic record plus a high degree of proficiency and motivation for selected research area Have been accepted or have applied for a postdoctoral training at a leading overseas university in a research area that is aligned with SIT’s supported areas A keen interest in an academic career Value of Fellowship The Fellowship provides: Monthly stipend Overseas maintenance allowance Return economy airfare Conference and fieldwork grants Overseas medical insurance Fellows will also each be assigned a SIT faculty mentor throughout their post-doctoral training and have opportunities to participate in faculty development programmes. The fellowship is tenable for one year. On an exception basis, a two-year programme may be supported. Service Commitment One year for every year of sponsorship. Application Process Applications are open throughout the year via the various links below. Applications received before 15 January 2026 will be considered for the 2026 intake. Interview by the respective clusters for shortlisted applicants will be conducted throughout the year. Supported Areas for START - Health Sciences Diagnostic Radiography: Radiography involves the controlled use of ionising radiation, radioactive substances and non-ionising radiation to produce diagnostic quality images of the human body, facilitating the diagnosis and treatment of patients (Allied Health Professions Act 2011). Dietetics: Dietetics involves the management of medical conditions and promotion of health through application of food and nutrition. Dietitians provide medical nutrition therapy and implement specific diet strategies for chronic medical conditions, illnesses, or injuries (Singapore Nutrition and Dietetics Association). Nursing: Registered nurses render health services to individuals, families, and communities (Singapore Nursing Board Code for Nurses and Midwives 2018). Speech and Language Therapy: Speech and Language Therapy involves assessment, diagnosis, treatment and management of communication and swallowing disorders (Allied Health Professions Act 2011). Occupational Therapy: Occupational therapy involves assessment and interventions to work or school, self-care, leisure or play, physical environments as well as cognitive, mental and physical components of function to enable individuals affected by physical injury or illness, developmental or learning disabilities, psychosocial dysfunctions or the aging process, to engage in everyday life occupations in order to maximise independent performance of life roles, prevent disability and maintain health (Allied Health Professions Act 2011). Physiotherapy: Physiotherapy involves assessment, treatment, rehabilitation and prevention of pain, injury, or any other physical dysfunction, through the use of education, exercise, manual therapy, electro-physical agents, technology or any other treatment for those purposes (Allied Health Professions Act 2011).

As a University of Applied Learning, SIT works closely with industry in our research pursuits. Future ship and system design (FSSD) program develop strategic and innovative design capabilities for maritime industry in Singapore and beyond. The work package WP2.4 in FSSD will conduct research in the areas of autonomous system dynamic modeling, simulation, testing, data and video analytics, machine learning algorithms and platform programing. The testing will be done both in lab, reservoir/sea and onboard ships. The primary responsibility of this role is to work on and deliver the project together with P2-4 team and be part of the research team in the FSSD program. Key Responsibilities Participate in and manage the research project with Principal Investigator (PI), Co-PI and the research team members to ensure all project deliverables are met. Carry out Risk Assessment, and ensure compliance with Work, Safety and Health Regulations. Work independently, as well as within a team, to ensure proper operation and maintenance of equipment. Carry out any additional work tasks assigned by the supervisor. To communicate with any relevant internal or external stakeholders to ensure project deliverables are met. Job Requirements Have relevant competence in the areas of system modeling, simulation testing for both hardware and software. Have a degree in engineering / applied physics, electrical, mechanical, marine, computer engineering or equivalent. Key Competencies Good knowledge in system modeling, programming, simulations, data analytics. Possess strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
