Rutgers University-New Brunswick was founded in 1766 in the city of New Brunswick, in New Jersey in the US. The university is the eighth-oldest higher education institution in the US and one of the "Colonial Colleges" founded before the American Revolution. The university is a public research university and a member of the Big Ten Academic Alliance. The university offers more than 120 undergraduate courses and majors including accounting, classics, entomology, information technology and informatics, medicine and many more. There are more than 750 student-led clubs at the university including the astronomy society, culinary club, geology club, book club and skateboarding club among many others. There are also more than 60 sports clubs including basketball, cricket, fencing, gymnastics, hockey, rugby, football and many more. There are also four large creation centres and an on site swimming pool. The university helps students to find internships in a range of industries including engineering, public health and journalism and the media.

Description The Center for Brain and Health (CBH) at New York University Abu Dhabi (NYUAD) seeks to recruit a Junior Research Scientist to support innovative clinical and translational research on brain health and disease in diverse populations within the UAE and wider MENA region. The successful applicant will play a central role in the day-to-day execution of human-subjects research studies, working within a multidisciplinary team of faculty investigators, research assistants, clinicians, and students. The position involves coordinating clinical and observational research protocols that integrate advanced neuroimaging, neuromonitoring, and behavioural methods, with a strong emphasis on regulatory compliance, participant safety, and high-quality data collection. Key responsibilities include coordinating participant recruitment and workflow (pre-screening, informed consent, scheduling, and follow-up), maintaining regulatory and ethics documentation, liaising with clinical partners and imaging facilities, and overseeing clinical aspects of MRI, EEG, and MEG sessions. The Junior Research Scientist / Clinical Coordinator will also contribute to the development of standard operating procedures, support training of research assistants and students, track study progress and recruitment metrics, and assist with grant applications, ethics submissions, and progress reporting. The role works closely with dedicated neuroimaging and research assistants who focus on technical data acquisition, imaging pipelines, and analysis, while the Clinical Coordinator leads clinical governance and participant-facing workflows. Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree in psychology, neuroscience, biomedical sciences, nursing, or a related field; a Master’s degree or clinical qualification (e.g., nursing, allied health, clinical psychology) is strongly preferred. Candidates should have 2–3 years of experience coordinating human-subjects research or clinical trials, ideally in neurology, psychiatry, or related areas, and demonstrated familiarity with ethical and regulatory requirements for human research. Experience working with patient populations and/or in neuroimaging or neuromodulation environments (MRI, EEG, MEG, TMS) is highly advantageous. Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Arabic or other languages spoken in the UAE is an asset. An experienced and motivated postdoctoral scientist is sought to join the Kyriazakis Quantitative Animal and Veterinary Science Group at the School of Biological Sciences of Queen's University Belfast. The successful candidate will undertake a senior role in the planning and delivery of research activities focused on assessing the interconnections between inputs and outputs in beef cattle and sheep systems in relation to animal health by using AI tools. The The cross-disciplinary Group consists of members with skills in veterinary and animal science, sustainability assessment, and data and computer sciences, and focuses on the development and application of transformative technologies for, and the quantitative assessment of their impacts on the sustainability of livestock systems. This particular role addresses the latter, as the job holder will be expected to develop methods and apply them for the Surveillance and Early Warning for Emerging Threats in Livestock using Artificial Intelligence. The post is aligned with SENTINEL, a collaborative project between the leading agricultural and veterinary Institutions on the island of Ireland (University College Dublin, AgriFood and Bioscience Institute,Teagasc). The successful candidate will have a demonstrable track record in Data Science with an excellent PhD degree awarded and strong publication record. The successful candidate will have responsibilities in independent research, supervision, planning, day-to-day lab management, collaborations and outreach. NexusSoSci provides the infrastructural and technical foundations for a central service and competence center for social science research. It brings together qualitative and quantitative methodological expertise in data collection, data preparation, and data analysis. The three Senior scientists and the coordinator employed in the facility play a key role in developing the digital, material, and spatial infrastructures that supports research projects, training, and networking activities. The position will initially be based at the Dean’s Office of the Faculty of Social Sciences and then transferred to a subunit following a positive evaluation. We intend to fill the position of Senior Scientist for the Online-Panel Lab from 1st of July onwards, but latest by 01 September 2026. The position is initially limited to four years.
