Skill & Experience Completed PhD in technical cyber security, computer science with a focus on technical cyber security, or closely related discipline and at least 5 years of relevant work experience Demonstrated experience in teaching and curriculum development in cyber security topic areas such as cyber offence, cyber defense, digital forensics, information assurance and security, software security, and data and decision analytics for cyber security at undergraduate or postgraduate level Demonstrated experience in developing and using cyber security applications in Linux, including on cloud platforms and developing practical learning materials Experience in engaging and inspiring students from diverse backgrounds, supporting student equity and inclusion, and fostering independent learning through meaningful assessment and helpful feedback Demonstrated track record in research including publications in high impact journals, research funding and research supervision Key relationships Rector – for strategic direction, performance oversight and reporting. Applicants should possess a medical qualification registrable with the Hong Kong Medical Council, and postgraduate professional qualifications in clinical disciplines in relation to clinical microbiology and infectious diseases. They should demonstrate a strong commitment to and evidence of excellence in teaching and its development, preferably in clinical microbiology and infectious diseases, to help advance the strengths of the Department’s teaching in the broad spectrum of medical and health sciences education. Each day, our researchers and graduates are tackling global health issues and striving to improve equity in communities both locally and around the world. At the forefront of cancer control, Professor Karen Canfell and her team play a pivotal role in supporting policy, practice and decision-making for innovative cancer solutions. Their groundbreaking work has led to the transformation of Australia's National Cervical Screening Program, which transitioned to HPV testing in 2017, positioning Australia as the first country expected to eliminate cervical cancer as a public health issue. Professor Canfell's team also lead the Elimination Partnership in the Indo-Pacific for Cervical Cancer (EPICC) program. This is the largest ever initiative of its kind, working across more than 8 countries in the Indo-Pacific, leveraging Australian, international and in-country partner expertise to accelerate the World Health Organization's strategy for the elimination of cervical cancer. We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Program Coordinator to play a central role in supporting the EPICC program. The incumbent will provide operational project management and administration support and advice to ensure the efficient implementation of project plans, activities, and tasks across multiple workstreams, and provide secretariat services to ensure effective coordination of the EPICC consortium.
