The city of Relizane sits in the North of Algeria. Its university was founded in 2008, initially as the Ahmed Zabana University Center. It was renamed the University of Relizane in 2020.
Students at the university study at one of five colleges: the faculty of sciences and technology; the college of rights; the college of social and human sciences; the faculty of economic, commercial and management sciences; and the college of arts and languages.
The university publishes 10 academic journals, on subjects including language, law, economics, and social responsibility and sustainable development.
There is a range of scientific, sporting and cultural clubs for students to join.
