Location: Arrernte - Alice Springs View Position Description About the Role As the Facilities Support Officer, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the Rural and Remote Health (RRH) team based in Alice Springs. Working closely with the Facilities Manager and leadership team, you will provide efficient facilities, accommodation and contractor support, while acting as a welcoming first point of contact for staff, students, visitors and community stakeholders. This hands-on role offers variety, autonomy and the opportunity to contribute to a positive experience for students and staff across the campus and accommodation network. The role also includes participation in an on-call roster, with some after-hours and weekend work required to support campus operations and student wellbeing. Provide responsive facilities and accommodation support to ensure the smooth operation of the Alice Springs campus and student accommodation properties. Act as the first point of contact for staff, students, visitors and contractors, delivering professional assistance and resolving enquiries efficiently. Coordinate contractor activities, maintenance requests, bookings and campus resources, including vehicles, bicycles and meeting spaces. Support student wellbeing and campus operations through practical on-site assistance, health and safety activities, and participation in an on-call roster.
