Qazvin University of Medical Sciences is an institution specialising in medicine and medical sciences, located in Iran’s Qazvin Province, just northwest of Tehran. The university was established in 1984 and admitted its first students a year later in 1985.
The university has five faculties which include: medicine, dentistry, nursing and midwifery, health, and paramedical sciences.
Qazvin University of Medical Sciences has partnerships with a range of hospitals, including: Bu Ali Sina Educational and Medical Centre, Healing Hospital, Martyrs Hospital, and many more. These partnerships allow students to learn from the latest technology and practices while gaining experience working at a hospital.
In addition, Qazvin University of Medical Sciences is a member of several health networks, where it gains information, knowledge and updates on specialist healthcare matters. Some of the health networks include Abeek, Avaj, and Takestan.
