About Providence University College & Theological Seminary

Providence University College and Theological Seminary is an interdenominational evangelical Christian University College and Theological Seminary in Otterburne, Manitoba.

With roots stretching back to the Winnipeg Bible Training School founded in 1925, the college has been known under its current name since 2011.

Providence University College offers bachelor of arts degrees in communications and media, biblical and theological studies, business administration, TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages), humanities and social sciences.

The university has a leading eco-campus, with the goal of being carbon neutral. Its Buller School of Business was the starting point for many of its green initiatives, including the distributed biomass-heating system, which began as a student project. The heating system has reduced Providence's greenhouse gas heating emissions by more than two-thirds and taken Providence about 75 per cent off-grid.

The 23,000-square-foot Reimer Student Life Centre has a dining hall, meeting rooms and a student lounge. The William Falk Library also serves an important role on campus, giving students a space to study and conduct research.
