Politeknik Pariwisata Bali

Politeknik Pariwisata Bali (Bali Tourism Polytechnic) is a specialised public higher education institution in Indonesia, established in 1978 under the Ministry of Tourism. 

The campus is located in Nusa Dua, a renowned tourism enclave in Bali. Known for its pristine beaches and rich cultural heritage, Bali is Indonesia’s most prominent tourist destination. This setting provides students with direct exposure to one of the world’s most dynamic tourism industries.

Study programmes at the institution are organised into two main departments, the Hospitality Department and the Travel Department. Within these departments, students are able to study courses such as catering, hotel management, hospitality accounting management, travel andtourism business, and event management. 

Academic programmes combine theoretical learning with hands-on experience, supported by training facilities such as mock hotels, restaurants, and kitchens designed to simulate real-world environments.

Throughout the academic year students participate in a wide range of cultural events, competitions, and extracurricular activities that enhance personal development alongside academic study. On-campus facilities, including training centres and recreational spaces, contribute to a comprehensive learning environment.

Since its establishment, the polytechnic has built partnerships with hospitality institutions and key industry stakeholders both in Indonesia and across the globe. These collaborations support internships, industry placements, and exchange opportunities, ensuring graduates are well-prepared for careers in the global tourism sector.
