About Paris-Saclay University
Paris-Saclay University is a public research university with sites in Paris, Orsay, Évery and Versailles in France.
This university is the successor to University Paris-Sud.
Courses at Paris-Saclay University are predominantly taught in French, but there are a number of classes taught in English, with the most English-speaking course options existing at the postgraduate level.
The university consists of five faculties in sciences, medicine, pharmacy, law-economics-management and sports sciences, and engineering. There are three technical institutes specialising in scientific and technical subjects in Cachan, Orsay, Sceaux and an undergraduate university school. With 10 Field Medallists to its name, the university is particularly renowned for mathematics.
Bringing together more than 300 research units, doctoral programmes on offer span the subjects of chemistry, electrical engineering, mathematics, mechanics, physics, life sciences, the humanities and IT.
