Qualifications and Qualities Ph.D. in Mathematics or a closely related field, and stature equivalent to full Professor or Chair Professor rank; Outstanding record of academic achievements and international recognition in research, scholarship, and teaching; Proven experience in leadership and university-level administration; Strong international network and demonstrated ability to secure research funding; Effective interpersonal communication skills and a high standard of personal integrity; and Commitment to representing the interests of the discipline and the Department in the broader community. Compensation and Benefits A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, together with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme at 15% of basic salary. We are currently seeking to hire a Senior Software Engineer to contribute to the development, testing, and field deployment of software systems for ground robots operating in extreme field environments. Working under broad supervision, you will deliver software contributions across the platform's framework, autonomy stack, and data pipelines, supporting research and field trials across multiple application domains. You will work as part of a small, collaborative team alongside Mechatronics Engineers, Postdoctoral Research Fellows, and senior technical leads who set technical direction.
