The Clinical Informatics Research Unit (CIRU), based within Southampton University Hospitals NHS Trust and part of the CRUK Clinical Centre, is seeking an Azure Infrastructure Engineer to support the development and operation of its Secure Data Environment (SDE). This role sits within a growing multidisciplinary team and will involve working closely with a small group of engineers and researchers to deliver secure, scalable cloud infrastructure that enables safe access to sensitive healthcare and research data. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining Microsoft Azure-based infrastructure, ensuring that the SDE meets stringent security, governance, and compliance requirements associated with clinical research.
