General Requirements Applicants should have (i) a doctoral degree in a relevant discipline such as social policy, social work or sociology awarded no more than five years prior to the commencement of the appointment; (ii) substantial research experience and achievements; (iii) good experience in teaching in the specified areas; (iv) excellent interpersonal, organisational and communication skills; and (v) proficiency in English and Putonghua. Preference will be given to candidates with outstanding academic training and international exposure. Appointment The conditions of appointment will be competitive. About the area The Centre for the Mathematics of Symmetry and Computation (CMSC) is a globally recognised research centre within the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at The University of Western Australia.
