Nukus Innovation Institute is one of the first private higher-education institutions in the Republic of Karakalpakstan, an autonomous republic that occupies the North-Western region of Uzbekistan.

Nukus Innovation Institute was founded in 2022. It operates in cooperation with universities elsewhere in the world, and its courses were developed in collaboration with foreign professors.

Courses fall under the remit of 10 departments: software engineering; economics; history; psychology; pedagogy; primary education; preschool education; teaching of philology and languages; accountancy and auditing; and finance and financial technologies. Teaching at the institute is delivered in Uzbek, Russian, English and Karakalpak.
