Notre Dame of Marbel University is a private Catholic educational institution located in Koronadal, South Cotabato, Philippines. It was established in 1945 as Notre Dame of Marbel High School by Rev. Francis McSorley to serve families in the Koronadal Valley following the Second World War.
It later developed into a full university and became part of the Notre Dame Educational Association, a national network of Catholic institutions in the Philippines. It is administered within the Marist tradition of education and became the first Marist university in the country in 1992.
The university operates from its main campus on Alunan Avenue in Koronadal. The campus includes academic buildings, residential facilities, recreational spaces and a large library. It also maintains additional learning facilities, including a demonstration farm used for agricultural education.
It offers education from undergraduate and postgraduate study. Academic programmes include engineering, health sciences, business, education, agriculture, information technology, law and social sciences. The institution also operates an education department from kindergarten to senior high school.
The university is part of the international Marist Brothers network, founded in France in 1817.
