Notre Dame of Dadiangas University is a private Catholic university in General Santos, South Cotabato, Philippines. It was founded in 1953 by the Marist Brothers of the Schools and was granted university status on 26 June 2006 under CHED Memorandum Order No. 48. It is the only private university in General Santos.
The university operates four campuses: the main campus along Marist Avenue, Lagao Campus housing the Integrated Basic Education Department, Espina Campus, and Glamang Campus for the College of Engineering, Architecture, and Technology. Academic programmes are offered through the colleges of business, education, health sciences, arts and sciences, and engineering, architecture, and technology.
Notre Dame of Dadiangas University is affiliated with the Notre Dame Educational Association and maintains international links with the University of Alcalá, Spain; Universidad Marista, Mexico City; Universidad Marista, Guadalajara; Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Paraná; and Universidad Marista de San Luis Potosí, Mexico.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATION/EXPERIENCES A doctoral research (normally PhD) degree in electrical and electronics, mechatronics, intelligent controls, robotics engineering, computer science, artificial intelligence, computer vision, mobile robotics, machine learning, data science and analytics, or be able to demonstrate an equivalent professional practice and engagement. Previous experience in coding (C/C++, Python, ROS etc) in robotics-related domains. Self-motivated for innovative teaching. Clear understanding of the philosophy and concept of Syntegrative Education (SE). Demonstrable past teaching/industry experiences or practices aligned with Syntegrative Education (SE). A commitment to Continual Professional Development in all areas of the role as an academic at the university. Ability to work, teach and research in English Strong team-work spirit. DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE A good track record of engagement with business and industry. University-level teaching experience. Relevant industry experience. Appropriate research experience, including working with industry, for the corresponding academic position level. Experience in intensive teaching and problem-based learning, and a willingness to be innovative in teaching practices. An institutional builder, able to work with wider disciplines across the college.
