Nile University of Nigeria was established in 2009 with just three faculties and has since has doubled to six faculties. It is part of the first and largest pan-African private higher education network, Honoris United University. The six faculties include health sciences, arts and sciences, engineering, management sciences, natural and applied sciences and law. The university offers 34 undergraduate and 47 postgraduate programmes. There is also a School of Preliminary Studies and Centre for Lifelong Learning. The Student Industrial Work Experience Scheme is compulsory for engineering students who must complete at least 24 weeks of work experience during their fourth year. Students can enjoy a range of sports including football, badminton and volleyball, as well as clubs and societies such as business, food club, theatre, law and engineering club. The university has its own TV and radio stations which students can take part in to develop their communication and media skills.

Key Responsibilities Develop, deliver, and regularly update content relevant to their specialty across the curriculum of the Doctor of Medicine (MD) programme, from pre-clinical courses to clinical rotations, as well as in postgraduate programmes. The successful candidate will be expected to engage students through innovative teaching methods, fostering critical thinking, clinical reasoning, professional values and ethical practice. Provide clinical education leadership, overseeing curriculum design and delivery, student assessment and continuous quality improvement, and provide mentorship to junior members of the clinical education team. Provide mentorship and guidance to students, including advising on research projects, theses, and career development. Conduct high-impact research in Clinical Genetics, securing external funding to establish and sustain these programmes. Description The Research Center on Stability, Instability and Turbulence (SITE) a center of the Research Institute, New York University Abu Dhabi, seeks to recruit a Post-Doctoral Associate to work in the fluid mechanics laboratory for experimental fluid dynamics.  SITE is inviting applications for fully-funded postdoctoral research associate positions. SITE is highly interdisciplinary and aims to develop novel enabling technology on hydrodynamic stability analysis that has applications in the study of the development of singularities, the long-time behavior of complex systems, the formation of spatial patterns, the transition between stability and instability, and the first steps of transition towards turbulence that appear in several disciplines across science, technology, engineering, mathematics, and innovation. Candidates must hold (or be close to completing) a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Physics and Applied Physics or a related field. Working in a newly established fluid dynamics laboratory at NYU Abu Dhabi, candidates are expected to have a strong interest in experimental research and collaborate with applied mathematicians closely.
