These roles will contribute to the Faculty's strategic curriculum planning and support quality assurance across our priority digital programs. As a Curriculum Management Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in implementing the Faculty's quality assurance framework and supporting the creation, review, and optimisation of curriculum materials. You will support the program leads' work to ensure quality, scalability, and consistency across digital programs. You will also collaborate closely with the Learning Innovation Office (LIO), working at the forefront of educational innovation to advance digital learning, elevate teaching practice, and help design transformative learning experiences. Your key responsibilities will be to: contribute to strategic curriculum planning and enhancement for priority digital programs, ensuring alignment with contemporary educational trends, university goals and regulatory requirements support the creation, review, optimisation, and digital delivery of curriculum materials, ensuring they are high quality, scalable, consistent, and effectively integrated across educational platforms provide informed curriculum consultancy to senior faculty and committees, guiding decision making on digital program design, governance and quality assurance lead and support key operational activities, including the production and publication of the Faculty Handbook, adherence to governance processes, and proactive risk, policy and compliance management About you relevant tertiary qualifications, or an equivalent combination of training and experience high level administrative experience supporting academic governance, curriculum processes, and committee operations demonstrated expertise in interpreting and applying complex University policies, procedures, and legislative frameworks experience managing curriculum data, publications, and content across student systems and web based platforms experience supporting quality assurance activities, including course reviews, curriculum mapping, and data analysis the ability to provide high level advice and recommendations to senior academic and professional stakeholders. Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated Research Engineer to join our team for a fixed-term project. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and validating objective texture testing methods that can accurately categorize foods within the International Dysphagia Diet Standardisation Initiative (IDDSI) framework, with a specific focus on Level 5 (Minced & Moist). This role will involve designing custom test fixtures, conducting practical laboratory work, and performing data analysis to create a robust and reliable testing protocol. Key Responsbilities: Conduct a comprehensive literature review on food rheology, texture analysis, particle analysis, image analysis and the IDDSI framework. Design and execute experiments to develop new instrumental texture analysis methods suitable for IDDSI Level 5 foods. Validate new methods against existing standards and a sensory panel to ensure accuracy and clinical relevance. Collect, analyze, and interpret data from instrumental and sensory evaluations. Document all experimental procedures, findings, and analyses in technical reports and prepare presentations to industry stakeholders and manuscripts for publication in peer-reviewed journals. Collaborate with a research team, including food scientists, clinicians, and engineers, to ensure the developed methods are practical and clinically relevant. Job Requirements: A degree in Food Science, Food Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field. A Master's or Ph.D. in a related research field is advantageous. Experience with instrumental texture, image analysis and particle sizing techniques (e.g., texture analyzers, universal testing machines) is highly desirable. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in material characterization techniques, such as stress-strain characterization. Proficiency in analysis software (e.g., Microsoft Excel, R, or other statistical software). Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. The primary responsibility of this role is to deliver on an industry innovation research project where you will be part of the research team to develop new herbicide compounds focusing on synthesis and characterizations of HPPD inhibitor herbicides. Key Responsibilities Participate in and manage the research project with Principal Investigator (PI), Co-PI and the research team members to ensure all project deliverables are met. i. Undertake these responsibilities in the project: ii. Design and synthesize novel HPPD inhibitor compounds iii. Conduct laboratory experiments for the synthesis of target compounds, including purification and characterization using techniques such as NMR, MS, FTIR, GC and HPLC Optimize synthetic routes and troubleshoot any challenges encountered during synthesis Carry out Risk Assessment, and ensure compliance with Work, Safety and Health Regulations.
