About Nanyang Technological University, Singapore
A relatively young university, Nanyang Technological University of Singapore was established in 1991 as a teaching university. Now, the university has developed into a research-intensive global university that offers undergraduate and postgraduate education. NTU became autonomous in 2006 and is one of the two largest public universities in Singapore.
There are eight colleges and institutes across which undergraduate and postgraduate studies are offered: business; engineering; humanities, arts and social sciences; science; medicine; graduate studies; education; and international studies.

There is also a medical campus in Novena, known as Singapore’s healthcare district.
