The successful candidate will be expected to engage students through innovative teaching methods, fostering critical thinking, clinical reasoning, professional values and ethical practice. Provide clinical education leadership, overseeing curriculum design and delivery, student assessment and continuous quality improvement, and provide mentorship to junior members of the clinical education team. Provide mentorship and guidance to students, including advising on research projects, theses, and career development. Conduct high-impact research in Cardiology, securing external funding to establish and sustain these programmes. Disseminate findings through peer-reviewed publications and presentations at national and international conferences. Applicants should have a Ph.D. degree in Biomedical Sciences, Life Sciences, or other cognate disciplines, with at least 5 to 10 years of relevant teaching experience. They must demonstrate proven leadership in course coordination and substantial teaching experience in anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, for medical, nursing, pharmacy, and biomedical sciences degree programmes. Applicants should be able to demonstrate adoption of innovative approaches in teaching and learning, a record of driving curricular reform, and/or collaboration across disciplines.
