Multimedia University (MMU), also known as Universiti Telekom, is a private, government-linked university in Malaysia. Established in 1996, the university started with the Institute of Telecommunication and Information Technology founded by Telekom Malaysia in Taiping, in the state of Perak in Malaysia in 1994. It began with 42 students underwent an experimental two-year telecommunication engineering diploma programme. The Ministry of Education then invited Telekom Malaysia to set up the first private university in Malaysia. It began with a single computing faculty known as the faculty of information technology in 1997. Today, the university is comprised of nine faculties and 19 research centres, including the Distance Education Centre in Cyberjaya. There are two campuses in Melaka and Cyberjaya. The Cyberjaya campus houses the undergraduate faculties of business and accounting, creative multimedia, cinematic arts, strategic communication, engineering, and information technology and computer science. It also offers postgraduate and distance education. The Melaka Campus offers business and accounting, engineering, information technology and computer science and law, as well as some postgraduate courses. There are nearly 12,000 students, more than 1,000 of whom are international students from over 70 countries. The vast majority of students at Multimedia University are undergraduates. The university has various partner institutions, in countries such as Malaysia, Indonesia, Japan and India. It has also formed collaborations in global industry, with companies including Nokia, Dell, Intel, Microsoft and Motorola. The Multimedia University motto is "Inquire, Inspire and Innovate" and its colours are blue and red.

The position is primarily focussed on the delivery of courses within the school’s undergraduate and postgraduate nursing or midwifery programs. You will work with guidance and direction from course coordinators. Job Description SCHOOL OF CONTINUING EDUCATION Lecturer I / II (Division of Nursing Education) (25260661) The School of Continuing Education, one of the seven Faculties/Schools of the University and a major provider of continuing and professional education in Hong Kong, offers a wide range of full-time and part-time programmes at the post-secondary, undergraduate and postgraduate levels for young learners and working adults. It also offers in-house training and short courses to meet the community needs and market demands. Operated on a self-financed basis, the School and its College of International Education currently employ about 400 full-time staff and 550 part-time instructors. The School is inviting applications for the following position: The School invites applications for Lecturer I/II posts. The appointee will contribute to the undergraduate and master’s nursing programmes in teaching as well as academic and departmental administrative duties. Applicants should possess a master’s degree (preferably a doctoral degree) in the relevant discipline and a valid Registered Nurse Practicing Certificate issued by the Nursing Council of Hong Kong with a minimum of 3 years’ post-registration local clinical experience. Preferences will be given to those with higher academic qualifications and relevant teaching experience in tertiary education sector. The expectation and job duty requirements will be in line with the appointed grade. The initial appointment will be offered on a fixed-term contract ending in August 2027. We are passionate plant biologists at CEITEC looking for  MSCA PhD Candidate of Cell-cycle regulation of DNA repair About this position:  Marie Curie-funded PhD programme starting in September 2026, offering an exciting opportunity for PhD candidate to contribute to collaborative project goals.​ If you are interested in cell cycle regulation of DNA damage response in plants, join us.​ ​We are looking for a motivated PhD candidate to study the dynamic behavior of key DNA repair proteins— e.g. PCNA1, MRE11, and PARP1—in both normal and DNA repair–deficient plants. Using live-cell imaging and high-resolution microscopy, you will uncover how these proteins reorganize in response to genotoxic stress and help safeguard the plant genome during development and replication. This project combines molecular genetics, advanced imaging, and quantitative analysis to answer fundamental questions in plant cell biology and genome stability. You will be part of AGILE, a large international project alongside 14 other PhD. students, all pushing the boundaries of quantitative imaging in plants.
