Muhammad Nawaz Sharif University of Engineering & Technology, Multan (MNS-UET) is a Pakistani higher education institute located in Multan, in Punjab province. It was established in 2012 to serve its region by providing professional education programmes. Its current campus is on the site of the Government College of Technology. However, a new main campus is being built about 20km from the current campus, near the town of Lar.
The university has a number of departments: chemical engineering and technology; electrical engineering and technology; mechanical engineering and technology; civil engineering and technology; computer science; basic sciences and humanities; and management sciences. Students at MNS-UET can pursue undergraduate and postgraduate degrees.
The university offers bachelor’s programmes in chemical engineering; chemical engineering technology; electrical engineering; electrical engineering and technology; mechanical engineering and technology; civil engineering technology; computer science; information technology; software engineering and technology; environmental sciences; business administration; mathematics; physics; and chemistry.
Also offered are master’s in chemical engineering and electrical engineering, as well as a PhD chemical engineering.
