MSA University is the first British higher education institution in Egypt and the Middle-East, and has partnerships with the University of Greenwich and the University of Bedfordshire. The university was founded in 1996 by Dr Nawal El Degwi who had a mission to provide educational excellence using the latest technologies. It has since had 35,000 students graduate from it. Located 30km from Cairo, the university campus covers 50 acres, 40 per cent of which is green space. Cairo is Egypt’s capital city and is full of cultural and historical wonders, such as the Pyramids of Giza, the River Nile and the famous market bazaar, Khan el-Khalili. Students have a plethora of sights to see in Cairo, taking in the wealth of culture that is on offer among the metropolis of the city. Education has been highly respectable in Egypt throughout history, since the Ancient Egyptians pioneered the papyrus. MSA University aims to continue this high standard of education for generations to come. There are a plethora of laboratories - 60 scientific and 20 computer - as well as 130 lecture halls, 30 cafeterias and an indoor theatre. It has two libraries, eight dental operation theatres, 15 editing laboratories and even an opera house. The university offers over 600 courses, both undergraduate and post-graduate, and all MSA graduates gain dual degrees, one British and one Egyptian. The university focuses on giving students the "triple A advantage"; agility, adaptiveness and alignment to allow them a competitive edge in this digital era. The university has nine faculties: arts and design, biotechnology, computer science, languages, dentistry, engineering, management, pharmacy and mass communication. Student life is a priority at MSA, meaning there is an extensive range of activities and clubs on offer. These include, astronomy, arts soldiers, dental committee and TEDxMSA.

You will bring excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, with the ability to build relationships, challenge constructively and support leaders and colleagues through change. University of Nottingham Ningbo China is seeking to recruit a Research Fellow in Chemical Engineering (OUTSOURCED) in the Department of Chemical and Environmental Engineering. Your Responsibility The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to research team in conducting academic research and essential support functions, including literature searches, drafting proposals, translation, conducting surveys, performing analyses and tests, and drafting manuscripts/reports. Join the University of Southampton Auditory Implant Service (USAIS) as a Rehabilitationist and make a meaningful impact in the lives of cochlear implant and auditory implant users. Working within a multi-disciplinary team, you’ll provide specialist rehabilitation, guiding patients through their hearing journey. As a University of Applied Learning, SIT works closely with industry in our research pursuits. Our research staff will have the opportunity to be equipped with applied research skill sets that are relevant to industry demands while working on research projects in SIT. This role supports the Future Ship and System Design (FSSD) Programme, which aims to accelerate the decarbonisation and digitalisation of Singapore’s maritime sector. The project focuses on developing planning methods to support the electrification of harbour craft fleets, using real-world operational data to derive charging demand profiles and infrastructure recommendations. As part of this work, we are seeking a Research Fellow to lead the development of a user-friendly GUI tool that will enable stakeholders to interact with planning models and visualise simulation outputs. The RF will also support increasing coordination between different projects as the number of case studies and incoming datasets continues to grow. Key Responsibilities: Design and develop a GUI tool to make model inputs/outputs accessible to end-users Collaborate with project leads and researchers to ensure technical accuracy of the interface Support integration of simulation outputs across Projects 3-1 and 3-2 Manage and process large sets of operational data for case study analysis Contribute expertise in power grid optimisation to enhance planning models Participate in stakeholder engagements and respond to evolving technical needs Job Requirements: A strong background in power systems, energy modelling, or grid optimisation Proficiency in GUI development (e.g. using Python Dash, Tkinter, or web-based frameworks) Experience working with data-driven simulation and model validation in power grids (Ph.D level is mandatory) Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment Prior exposure to maritime or transport-related electrification studies is a plus

In 2022, The University of Sydney commenced delivery of its four-year graduate entry Doctor of Medicine (MD) Program in two streams; a Metropolitan stream based on the University's Camperdown campus in Sydney, and a Dubbo stream based at the School of Rural Health in Dubbo. We have a position available for a part-time Marketing and Communications Officer who will undertake a range of duties to support and build marketing and communications capacity for the School of Rural Health (Dubbo/Orange).
