Applications are now invited for the following posts: Associate Professor/Assistant Professor Division of Artificial Intelligence (Post Ref.: 25/72) The Division is looking for an experienced Associate Professor/Assistant Professor who will (1) conduct high-quality research in the state-of-the-art areas in artificial intelligence, natural language processing, large language models, and computer vision; (2) secure external competitive research grants in various funding bodies; (3) teach multiple subjects in both undergraduate-level and postgraduate-level programs in data science areas focusing on industrial data sciences, blockchain, data sciences, artificial intelligence, etc.; (4) work on the promotions and admissions as well as the operations for undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, and (5) contribute to other administrative duties as required by the supervisors. General Requirements Candidates should have (i) a doctoral degree in a relevant data science, computer science, artificial intelligence, information engineering, or other relevant areas; (ii) a strong publication record and outstanding citation counts in the research areas; (iii) experience in applying external grants and teaching relevant courses and relevant programme administrative experience will be advantages; (iv) good command of English and Chinese (including Mandarin). For the post of Associate Professor, six years of relevant experience in the tenure-track academic post should be required. The candidates with less experience will be considered as Assistant Professor. Appointment The conditions of appointment will be competitive. The rank and remuneration will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits include annual leave, medical and dental benefits, mandatory provident fund, gratuity and incoming passage and baggage allowance for the eligible appointees. In collaboration with NEA, the Energy Efficiency Technology Centre (EETC) at Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT) aims to be the leading technology innovation centre to support local industries on energy efficiency initiatives. EETC aspires to promote and develop energy efficiency capability and new technologies in the local energy ecosystem for industrial sectors. Key Responsibilities Work with EETC team members and companies on energy assessment projects in industrial systems Assist and/or co-develop training in energy efficiency in industrial systems to adult learners and students Mentor students in energy assessment projects to enhance their technical problem-solving skills. The learning activities may be classroom training, laboratory classes, projects. Development of learning activities / materials and assessment of students may form part of the responsibilities. Support research and industrial project work undertaken by the university, where opportunity arises. Carry out Risk Assessment, and ensure compliance with Work, Safety and Health Regulations. Work independently, as well as within a team, to ensure smooth execution of the energy audits. For those hired at senior levels, management responsibilities may be included. Manage and administer training programmes at the Centre.  Job Requirements Have hands-on experience in energy assessments and energy efficiency projects in some of the following areas: Industrial systems such as: Chilled Water System, Cooling and Refrigeration System, Mechanical Ventilation System, Heating system, Process Separation, Process Heat Integration, Process Compressor System, Steam and Condensate System, Compressed Air System, Motor Driven System, Power Distribution System and Electric Motors, Lighting System, Renewable Energy System, Process Specific system etc. Have a Degree in Engineering or equivalent. Have at least 5 years of project work experience in energy efficiency. Certified Energy Efficiency Opportunity Assessor or Singapore Certified Energy Manager will be advantageous. Licensed LEW (Technician grade or higher) will be advantageous for one of the positions. *Note: The incumbent will be appointed as Research Fellow / Research Engineer if successful.

Welcome to Apply for the 2026 Overseas Outstanding Young Scholars Programme through Beijing Normal University  I. Programme Overview The Overseas Outstanding Young Scientists Fund Programme aims to attract and encourage outstanding young scholars (including non-ethnic Chinese foreign talents) who have achieved notable accomplishments in natural sciences, engineering, and technology to return to or come to China. They will independently select research directions to conduct innovative studies, thereby accelerating the growth of young scientific and technological talents. This initiative seeks to cultivate a cohort of outstanding academic leaders poised to advance to the forefront of global science and technology, contributing to the nation's endeavours to become a leading scientific and technological power. II. Application Requirements The final requirements shall be subject to the 2026 National Natural Science Foundation of China Outstanding Young Scientist Fund Programme (Overseas) Application Guidelines. 1. Applicants for the Outstanding Young Scientists Fund Programme (Overseas) must meet the following criteria: (1) Comply with the laws and regulations of the People's Republic of China, demonstrate sound scientific ethics, and conscientiously embody the spirit of scientists in the new era; (2) Have been born on or after 1 January 1986; (3) Hold a doctoral degree; (4) Their research focus should primarily lie within natural sciences, engineering technology, or related fields; (5) Between obtaining their doctoral degree and 15 April 2026, applicants should generally have held a formal teaching or research position at an overseas university, research institution, or corporate R&D centre, with a continuous work history of at least 36 months. For those who obtained their doctoral degree overseas and have demonstrated particularly outstanding achievements, the work experience requirement may be appropriately relaxed (this does not apply to those who obtained their overseas doctoral degree through joint Sino-foreign training programmes). For applicants holding concurrently remunerated positions within China during their overseas employment period, the duration of such domestic employment shall not be counted towards the overseas work requirement; (6) Have achieved research or technical accomplishments recognised by peers, demonstrating potential to become an academic leader or outstanding talent in the field;  (7) Applicants must not yet have taken up full-time employment in China, or must commence such employment after 1 January 2025. Upon receiving funding notification, they must resign from their overseas position and undertake full-time employment in China for a minimum of three years. 2. Limitation Requirements: Compliance with national science and technology talent programme coordination requirements is mandatory. Applicants may undertake only one programme at the same level and may not apply for programmes at a lower level. III. Support Policies  1.
