Mohammed VI University of Health Sciences (UM6SS) was established in 2014 in Casablanca, Morocco, as part of a national vision to modernise the country’s healthcare system and boost scientific research in health-related fields.
It was founded under the initiative of the Mohammed VI Foundation for Science and Innovation, and has since evolved into one of Morocco’s leading health-focused universities.
Its campus is equipped with simulation centres, digital learning platforms, and access to university hospitals for clinical training and research.
The university is comprised of several faculties and schools, including medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, nursing and allied health sciences, and public health. Each faculty is organised into different departments, all of which offer a range of degree programmes at both undergraduate and graduate level.
The university is also home to research centres focusing on medical innovation, epidemiology, and biotechnology.
