First established as the first Normal School in Pennsylvania in 1855, Millersville University is based in the United States.
It’s one of the 14 schools, which make up the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education (PASSHE).
Students can study at undergraduate, postgraduate and PhD level within a variety of faculties, including: arts, humanities and social sciences, business, science and technology and education.
Within these, there are a plethora of different specialities including: accounting, journalism, animal behaviour, earth sciences, nursing and history.
On campus, students will find everything they need including a library, modern laboratories, group study rooms, and cafeterias and canteens.
There’s also student housing available to around 2,000 students annually, while others choose to commute from home or off campus housing.
On campus, students are actively encouraged to take part in sports activities. Millersville University sponsors 19 intercollegiate varsity sports which compete in NCAA Division II. Sports include baseball, basketball, soccer, tennis, field hockey, volleyball, cross country and wrestling.
There are a number of facilities for sports including a baseball pitch, tennis and basketball courts, golf course and a fitness centre with weights, machines and a swimming pool.
There are also more than 130 organisations, which include service and leadership clubs, fraternities and sororities, musical groups, religious organisations, special interest clubs, sports clubs and student media. And if a club doesn't already exist, students can easily start their own club or organisation.
Millersville University has relationships with universities around the world to encourage international students to attend the university.
