Established in 1929, the Miami Business School (MBS) is part of the University of Miami, located in Coral Gables, Florida. The 1940s saw a period of expansion in terms of undergraduate courses and its MBA programme began in 1948. It was accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) in 1957 and now has over 2,300 undergraduates and 900 graduates. MBS offers a bachelor of business arts and a bachelor of arts in business administration with majors in accounting, business technology, economics, entrepreneurship, finance, health sector management and policy, human resource management, management international finance and marketing, legal studies, management, marketing and real estate. Many MBS undergraduates study abroad and can apply for financial aid and scholarships. Partner institutions stretch from South America to Europe and on to India, China and South Africa. Graduate courses on offer include: Full-Time MBA, Executive MBA, Professional MBA and Masters Programs in accounting, accounting-accelerated, business analytics, finance, health administration, international business, leadership, real estate – accelerated MBA, taxation, application information, tuition information and media management (with the School of Communication). The MBA programmes has various options that emphasise the international approach of the MBS. Opportunities include: the Global Learning Opportunities in Business Education (GLOBE) which takes graduate business students to China, Brazil and other destinations, and the Global Business Consulting programme that gives students the opportunity to travel abroad and work on real projects for real companies. MBS also offers two PhDs, one in business and one in economics. Research Centres and Institutes include the Center for Health Sector Management and Policy, the Center for International Business Education and Research, Deloitte Institute for Research & Practice in Analytics, the Leadership Institute and The 'Canes Behavioral Laboratory, a state-of-the-art research facility designed for advanced, technology-driven marketing research. Accredited by the AACSB International (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) and SACS (Southern Association of Colleges and Schools), MBS has been placed 26th in the US for its Executive MBA programme by The Economist and 49th in the US for its MBA by the same publication in 2015 and 2017 respectively. Your academic environment: A postdoc position is available in the Department of Liturgical Studies and Sacramental Theology at the Institute of Historical Theology, starting October 15, 2026. Our research areas include: basic ritual studies in the perspective of “Comparative Liturgiology”, study of Anglican liturgy (especially ordination rites), religious rituals in film, and studies of Eastern Church and Oriental as well as Early Church liturgies. Duties and Responsibilities The appointee will be responsible for providing clinical supervision and teaching of students in the Bachelor of Science in Speech-Language Pathology programme. Essential Requirements Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree or above, a recognized professional qualification in Speech Therapy, and at least 5 years’ post-qualification clinical experience as a speech therapist.
