(pro-rata) Location: Bedford Park / Kaurna Country View Position Description About the Role As a Technical Officer in Biomedical Engineering, you will provide end-to-end technical support for highly specialised biomedical and instrumentation-related laboratory equipment. Working both independently and collaboratively, you’ll ensure equipment is evaluated, maintained, repaired, and modified to meet operational needs. This role combines mechanical expertise, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement to support research and teaching activities within the College of Medicine and Public Health. Deliver lifecycle support for specialised biomedical equipment, including evaluation, installation, maintenance, and disposal. Diagnose and repair complex laboratory equipment to component level, applying innovative problem-solving techniques. Provide technical advice, training, and documentation for equipment users and assist with student placements.
