Your personal sphere of influence: As a university assistant prae doc you will complete the research team around Prof. Dr. Christian Koller in civil procedure law. In addition to your independent research, you will contribute to publications and projects, hold independent and supportive courses, supervise students and be involved in organisational activities (conferences, symposia, etc.). The employment durations is 4 years. Initially limited to 1,5 years, the employment relationship is automatically extended to 4 years if the employer does not terminate it within the first 12 months by submitting a declaration of non-extensions. Your future tasks: You actively participate in research, teaching and administration, which means: You are involved in research projects and publications. You participate in the organisation of conferences and symposia. You work on your dissertation and its completion. We expect you to finalize your dissertation agreement within 12-18 months. You hold courses independently within the scope of the provisions of the collective bargaining agreement. You take on administrative tasks in research and teaching. We are seeking a motivated, analytical, and detail-oriented Data Analytical Research Assistant to support a multidisciplinary research team working on the Research Ireland–funded RENEW project. The successful candidate will primarily contribute to activities related to data analysis, data management, and the development of the Smart Tariff Comparison Tool. The role will focus on supporting the collection, preparation, analysis, and interpretation of energy-related and consumer datasets to inform the development, testing, and refinement of the Smart Tariff Comparison Tool. Working closely with experienced researchers and technical staff, the successful candidate will contribute to analytical workflows, data processing activities, and evidence generation to support project objectives. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career researcher or analyst to gain hands-on experience in applied data analytics, energy research, and digital tool development within an interdisciplinary research environment.
