Mapua Malayan Colleges Laguna was established as a branch of Mapua University, designed to continue its engineering and technology education. Academically, the university is divided into six colleges: College of Arts and Science, College of Computer and Information Science, College of Health Sciences in Collaboration with ASU, Mapua-PTC College of Maritime Education and Training, Mapua Malayan Digital College, and the E.T. Yuchengco College of Business in Collaboration with ASU. Within each college are different departments, offering a range of both undergraduate and graduate degree programmes. There is also the Mapua Institute of Technology at Laguna, the Mapua-Laguna Institute of Aviation, and the Institute for Excellence in Continuing Education and Lifelong Learning. Outside the classroom, the university offers many extracurricular activities, student organisations and community engagements. Situated within the bustling city of Cabuyao. Cabuyao is one of the major cities in the province of Laguna, Philippines, and spreads along the southern banks of Laguna de Bay, the largest lake in the country. This industrial city is home to several factories and industrial parks including Nestlé, the Asian Brewery, and the Light Industry and Science Park.

The Faculty of Law at the University of Helsinki is seeking undergraduate students to work as research assistants in Helsinki and as teaching assistants in Helsinki and Vaasa for the academic year 2026–2027. The work will be compensated at an hourly rate of €15.70/hour. Working hours are 0–15 h/week; in Helsinki, 0-60 h/month. The responsibilities of research assistants include assisting researchers with various research-related tasks, such as information retrieval, data collection, proofreading, and technical formatting of footnotes and similar materials. The work requires good IT and communication technology skills, as well as strong interpersonal skills. Proficiency in English is required, and knowledge of Finnish and Swedish is considered an advantage. The responsibilities of teaching assistants include various support tasks related to teaching, including the use of the Moodle learning environment and assisting staff with the system. Additionally, the work involves carrying out practical arrangements related to courses (e.g., grouping students and communicating course-related matters to students) as well as tasks related to recording teaching and other practical implementations of teaching. The tasks also include duties related to bilingualism and the use of both domestic languages, so we value fluency in Swedish. The work also requires good IT and communication technology skills and excellent interpersonal skills. We are seeking to appoint a highly organised, apprentice focused and employer confident Degree Apprenticeship Facilitator (DAF) to support apprentices and employers throughout the full apprenticeship journey from onboarding and induction through on programme delivery, tripartite progress reviews, gateway and successful End Point Assessment (EPA) / Apprenticeship Assessment (AA). This is a role for someone who enjoys being the steady, supportive link between apprentice, employer and university, someone who can combine coaching and motivation with strong process management, compliance awareness, and evidence quality. You will manage a defined caseload and use your coaching experience to provide detailed feedback, set relevant actions, and offer regular guidance to keep apprentices progressing and EPA/AA ready. This role will suit you if you are motivated by helping apprentices succeed and you enjoy working across learners, employers and university teams to make that happen. You should apply if you: Enjoy coaching and supporting learners—giving clear, constructive feedback and setting practical actions that move people forward. Are confident building productive, professional relationships with employers and mentors, and can communicate expectations clearly and diplomatically. Like organising complex processes and evidence—comfortable with deadlines, documentation and audit ready records. Can spot risk early (e.g., low engagement, gaps in evidence, missed milestones) and take proactive steps to get apprentices back on track. Are comfortable using digital systems and data to monitor progress, report accurately and support timely gateway and EPA/AA readiness. Take pride in delivering a supportive and inclusive learner experience, understanding the importance of safeguarding and escalation where needed.
