Established in 2006 under the Mangalayatan University, Uttar Pradesh Act, Mangalayatan University is a private institution that has developed into a multidisciplinary centre for higher education in northern India.

The university is located in Beswan, a town near the Aligarh district in the state of Uttar Pradesh. REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Candidates must have an entry-to-practice degree (BScN or MN) in nursing, as well as a PhD degree in nursing or a related discipline by the time of appointment, or shortly thereafter, with a demonstrated record of excellence in research and teaching. We seek candidates whose research and teaching interests complement and enhance our existing departmental strengths. All applicants must be eligible for registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario.

Candidates must provide evidence of research excellence which can be demonstrated through a record of publications in top-ranked and field-relevant journals or forthcoming publications that meet high international standards; the submitted research statement; presentations at significant conferences; awards and accolades; and strong endorsements from referees.

Evidence of excellence in teaching will be demonstrated through teaching accomplishments, the teaching dossier including a teaching statement, sample course materials, and teaching evaluations or other evidence of superior performance in teaching-related activities submitted as part of the application, and strong letters of reference. Other teaching-related activities can include performance as a teaching assistant or course instructor, experience leading successful workshops or seminars, student mentorship, or excellent conference presentations or posters.

Candidates must also have experience working with, teaching, or mentoring/supervising diverse groups or diverse students along with the ability to contribute to fostering diversity on campus, and within the curriculum or nursing profession, demonstrated through the application materials.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The successful candidate will be expected to pursue innovative and independent research, and to establish an outstanding, competitive, and externally funded research program.

Position information The Department of Economics at Wenzhou-Kean University invites applications for a full-time, 10-month, tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor of Economics, beginning in August 2027. The position carries a teaching load of 24 credits per academic year, with a 6-credit annual course release for new faculty during their first three years of appointment. Faculty typically teach two different courses per semester, with each section generally enrolling 30 students.

We seek economists with a strong commitment to scholarly research and high-quality undergraduate teaching. Applications are welcome from all fields of economics, with priority given to candidates in applied economics. Areas of particular interest include, but are not limited to, health, urban, environmental, education, public, and development economics. We especially value candidates whose research combines strong economic reasoning with rigorous empirical methods and sophisticated use of data.
