Law Enforcement Academy of the Republic of Uzbekistan

Essentially the Uzbek version of Police Academy, the Law Enforcement Academy of Uzbekistan trains personnel in the field of crime investigation, as well as for local and national prosecutors’ offices.
Established in 2022, the Tashkent-based academy replaced a specialist branch of Tashkent State Law University. All the branch’s educational material and staff members were transferred to the new academy.
The academy provides professional development for workers already in these roles, as well as offering undergraduate and postgraduate degrees.
Both sets of degree programmes come under the faculty of law, and focus on investigative activity and prosecutorial activity. In addition, master’s programmes look at anticorruption measures and international human-rights law.

About the opportunity (position overview)

The University of Sydney is seeking an outstanding academic clinician to join as Chair of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (REI) at the level of Associate Professor or Professor, a prestigious leadership role that will drive transformative research and clinical excellence in fertility and reproductive medicine at one of Australia's leading academic institutions. Based within the Reproduction and Perinatal Centre (RPC) and Westmead Clinical School, the Chair will undertake academic teaching and research, adding to the RPC's strong program in maternal and fetal medicine, pregnancy, and its disorders by developing and leading a new research stream in reproductive endocrinology.

In this role, the successful candidate will contribute to shaping a strategic research agenda in REI with strong translational impact, foster a thriving environment for early and mid-career researchers, and build interdisciplinary collaborations across the University and its Westmead partners. They will also support high-quality teaching and supervision of medical and health professional students, with potential opportunities to contribute to clinical care within the Westmead Health Precinct-all within a highly supportive and collaborative ecosystem.

This is an exciting opportunity for a visionary academic to shape the future of fertility science and care in Australia, bringing deep expertise as a reproductive endocrinologist and infertility specialist together with an outstanding track record of independent research, scientific leadership, and collaboration.

About you (skills, capabilities and experience)

To be the successful candidate, you will be a medical practitioner who is registered or eligible for registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). You will be a distinguished academic Obstetrician & Gynaecologist with a strong track record in reproductive endocrinology and infertility research. You will hold a PhD (or equivalent qualification) and hold a Fellowship of the Royal Australasian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (FRANZCOG) or equivalent specialist registration. You will also have Certification of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (CREI) or equivalent with continuing medical education in the field of REI.

The successful applicant will be required to engage with all relevant NSW Health policy process requirements, to have their qualifications formally recognised, to support a request for an eligible Clinical appointment.

Applicants with strong track records of clinical leadership within the health system and excellence in education, but without higher academic qualifications, may also be considered for appointment as Associate Professor or Professor of Practice.

The successful candidate will also:


	Have an established clinical reputation and demonstrated experience in reproductive endocrinology and infertility (REI)
	Be a researcher with an international reputation, capable of leading and producing competitive research in REI
	Have proven leadership experience as a successful administrator of a research group or academic department
	Possess a wide network of established relationships with key academic, industry and professional institutions, partners, and stakeholders that can be leveraged to enhance the standing of the RPC, WFC, and the University

Term and remuneration

The successful candidate will be offered a 5-year fixed-term position on a full-time basis, with the possibility for renewal subject to assessment of performance. The appointment is subject to completion of a satisfactory probation period for new appointees.

The selected candidate will be offered an attractive remuneration package commensurate with the responsibilities of the position and the candidate's relevant experience and qualifications.

About the Role

We are seeking either an inspiring Associate Lecturer or Lecturer in Speech Pathology to deliver engaging, student-centred teaching in speech pathology across all levels and learning modes within the College.

The Associate Lecturer will design, coordinate and deliver lectures, tutorials, practical sessions, workshops and assessments for Speech Pathology students. The incumbent will contribute to planning, reviewing and improving topic content, and assist in developing high-quality teaching materials under the guidance of senior staff. The position also involves providing academic support, professional guidance and career advice to students.

The Lecturer will play an active role in planning, coordinating and evaluating topics, including taking on Topic Coordinator responsibilities when required.

A key part of the role is contributing to the ongoing review, renewal and design of innovative curricula that attract diverse student cohorts and foster creativity and critical thinking.

The Lecturer will also provide academic guidance, professional advice and meaningful support to students as they navigate their studies and plan their careers. Embracing new technologies and teaching innovations, The Lecturer will help ensure an exceptional learning experience for all.

About You

Associate Lecturer

You offer proven tertiary-level teaching experience within Speech Pathology, supported by a strong track record in designing, preparing, and delivering high-quality curriculum. You are skilled in assessing student learning through diverse methods and have a clear understanding of curriculum review processes and both internal and external accreditation requirements.

Your teaching approach demonstrates a commitment to innovation, using contemporary technologies to enhance engagement and learning outcomes. You recognise the vital link between teaching, research, scholarship, and professional practice, applying this understanding to create dynamic, evidence-informed learning experiences.

You are collaborative, student-focused, and dedicated to contributing to a supportive, high-performing academic environment.

In this role you will also be able to demonstrate:


	Satisfactory completion of 4 years tertiary study or equivalent qualifications and experience in the area of teaching.
	Hold and maintain a current membership with Speech Pathology Australia.

Job Purpose:

The POD robotics team is building up 3 specific domains capabilities to meet complex industry demands that spans across hardware, software, and AI. Adding a Full-Stack Robotics PO would add to the capability of the robotics team. This role will establish our technical standards by leveraging ROS2 and RMF to build standardised, reusable middleware for multi-robot coordination and fleet management as we embark to integrate with JTC ODP and enable center for conducting the testing certification at PDD when the sandbox is established.

Knowledge of Embodied AI (SLAM, Reinforced Learning) is also critical for developing shared, plug-and-play autonomy capabilities that drastically accelerate project development speed. With a strong foundation in Mechatronics, this individual guarantee hardware-software integrity and mitigates technical risk by prototyping and troubleshooting physical components in-house. Recruiting this role is a strategic necessity to fuse these disparate domains, allowing the team to deliver robust, standardised modules and support our applied research portfolio.

Key Responsibilities


	Participate and manage the industry project with Principal Investigator (PI), Co-PI and team members to ensure all project deliverables are met
	Involve in customer engagements, includes gathering of systems requirements and formulate scope
	Involve in the full development life cycle, i.e., design, development, and testing
	Generate technical proposals, design documents, test document


Job Requirements


	Strong foundation in electrical engineering, mechanical design, mechatronics or systems engineering
	Project experience with sensor integration (e.g., LiDAR, cameras, IMUs), actuators, and motor control
	Experience in ROS (Robotics Operating System) or ROS 2, including package creation, message passing, and launch configuration.
	Experience with Robotics Middleware Framework (RMF) for multi-robot system coordination, fleet management, and interoperability is highly desirable.
	Proficiency in PCB design/prototyping, troubleshooting hardware issues, and using lab equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, etc.) will be an added advantage.
