It has recruited highly accomplished faculty (four colleagues among the Top 2% most highly cited researchers according to Stanford University and three among Elsevier’s most highly cited researchers in China) from globally distinguished institutions working in these key disciplines. The Faculty of Medicine School of Clinical and Experimental Sciences, supported by Hampshire and Isle of Wight Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust (HIOWH), wishes to appoint an Associate Professor / Senior Clinical Lecturer in General Psychiatry. The successful candidate will have previously won external funding, have a strong record of research and publication, and be expected to develop a programme of research with support from clinical and laboratory-based colleagues. They will have demonstrable potential to acquire further independent funding and be expected to gain external funding equivalent to around 50% of the salary beyond the first three years. They will contribute to academic leadership within the Faculty and Trust and enhance the quality of research, enterprise and teaching.
