Basic information and contact details for Kyungdong University

Kyungdong University (KDU) is a private university situated in northeastern South Korea. Its origins trace back to 1981, evolving from the earlier Sokcho Technical College and later becoming Dong-U College before officially transforming into Kyungdong University in the late 1990s. It quickly expanded and in 2012 merged with Dong-U College under Ministry of Education approval.

The university operates across three distinct campuses: the Global Campus in Goseong and Sokcho cities, the Metropolis Campus in Yangju City, and the Medical Campus in Wonju City. GSMP is a global network of higher educational institutions that provides a unique opportunity to all students to gain an international perspective. KDU Global curriculums have been adopted in over 10 countries including Kazakhstan, Indonesia, Uzbekistan, Peru, Colombia and Malaysia. KDU Global graduates can join pathway programmes at universities in Canada, the US, Australia, France, Spain, and Italy.
