Basic information and contact details for Ostrogradsky National University of Kremenchuk

Ostrogradsky National University of Kremenchuk is the largest university in the region of Poltava Oblast, central Ukraine. Teaching at the university is split into two scientific institutes – the institute of electromechanics, energy saving and automatic control systems, and the institute of mechanics and transport – as well as four key faculties covering economics, law, humanities, natural and social sciences. The institution is also home to two colleges for vocational training. A large number of postdoctoral science degrees are also taught at the university. Student numbers currently total more than 5,000 across undergraduate and postgraduate study, with around 400 academic staff members. Ostrogradsky National University of Kremenchuk has partnerships with 72 international universities across 25 countries, and collaborates on a number of international research programmes. On-site facilities include a library, two canteens, a concert hall, sports centre and an impressive sports complex capable of accommodating an audience of 10,000 people. Sports are an integral part of student life, and students can make use of an additional nine sports pitches, a football field, an indoor swimming pool and an indoor rock-climbing centre. Kremenchuck itself is a thriving industrial city of more than 223,000 people. The university campus is situated on the banks of the Dnieper River and is surrounded by several designated areas of natural beauty, including the Rehionalʹnyy Landshaftnyy Park wildlife refuge.
