The Academy would like to seek proactive and self-driven applicants for the position of Senior Research Assistant or Research Assistant for a research project relating to Sports and Health Sciences. Responsibilities: Assist in data collection and process of ongoing research projects; Follow the standard operational procedures of managing all related equipment and software (human biomechanics and/or physiology) under the projects; Support literature review and statistical analysis; and Carry out any other duties as assigned Requirements: A bachelor’s degree or above in Sports Biomechanics, Physiotherapy, Kinesiology, Motor Learning, Bioengineering or a related field; Experience in human movement science, balance control, and wearable/IMU; Be a good team player and able to work independently;  Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail; Have a good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese;  Have good computer literacy including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; Proficient in SPSS (data import, variable management, basic analysis) and Endnote (data import, citation); and Experience in meta-analysis will be advantageous. As Singapore’s University for Industry, SIT works closely with industry partners in our research pursuits. Our research staff will have the opportunity to be equipped with applied research skill sets that are relevant to industry demands while working on research projects in SIT. The primary responsibility of this position is to deliver on a research project to develop an End-to-end misinformation and disinformation protection, awareness and mitigation pipeline. We will be recruiting a research engineers or fellows, as part of a wider project, to conduct research on: LLM/VLM, media comparison, AI-assisted explainability. The need is for a real-time system, so efficient coding is important. Key Responsibilities: Participate in and manage the research project with Principal Investigator (PI) Ian McLoughlin, Co-PI Tong Rong and the research team members to ensure all project deliverables are met.  Undertake research within your domain, including keeping track of state-of-the-art work. Develop the code, evaluate and test. Write academic publications. Deliver solution-ready demonstration code. Interact well within the team and the customers. Be self-directed to fulfil the project requirements. Job Requirements: Competence in working with languages such as C along with Python-based coding and AI development. Have a degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering. Possessing a Master’s or PhD degree will definitely be advantageous. Knowledge of machine learning, pytorch, huggingface etc... Knowledge of image processing is required. Ability to effectively and efficiently utilise industry-standard Linux-based computers for AI. Experience of authoring good quality academic publications. Manage undergraduate research assistants (if appropriate). Liaise with customers and collaborators in A*STAR and NTU, as well as collaborators in the UK and China. Job Description SCHOOL OF CREATIVE ARTS Part-time Lecturer (25260005) The School of Creative Arts (SCA), comprised of three well-established academic units: the Academy of Film, the Academy of Music, and the Academy of Visual Arts. Established on July 1, 2022, SCA is dedicated to nurturing future-ready talents for Hong Kong and beyond, while making a significant impact on society through innovative research and transdisciplinary studies. The School is currently seeking a Part-time Lecturer to teach the course(s) at undergraduate level in the following areas:  Entertainment / Media / Creative industries; and Creative entrepreneurship. The ideal candidate should hold a Master’s degree or above in related disciplines, with 3 years of experience in entertainment industries with aspects of content development, budgeting, licensing, administration, marketing, or audience engagement, preferably with teaching experience at the university level. A good command of English and Chinese, excellent communication skills, and a strong sense of responsibility are required. Duties may also include supervision of students, marking of examination papers, and any other work as assigned by the Programme Director and the Dean of School. The initial appointment will be offered on a part-time basis commencing August 2025. Re-appointment thereafter will be subject to performance review and course availability.
