Basic information and contact details for Kingdom University
Kingdom University was founded in 2001.
It is a private institution based in Rifat (also known as al-Hajiyat), Bahrain’s second city.
Having moved to its purpose-built campus in 2013, it remains a small institution emphasising the inclusion of professional credentials like the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants in the curricula of degrees.
It offers an Arabic-medium degree in law, while English is used for business, finance and accounting, finance and banking, industrial design, civil and environmental engineering, information technology, and engineering.
There are plans to extend offerings to reflect the needs of local and regional, current and future job markets. New courses introduced in 2023 were master's in business, law, architectural engineering and computer science, with plans for further expansion into a diploma in sports law and an Arabic-medium MBA.
