King Salman International University is a public higher education institution located in South Sinai, Egypt, with campuses in Ras Sedr, El Tor and Sharm El Sheikh. It was established in 2020 as part of a national initiative to expand higher education provision and support regional development across the Sinai Peninsula.
The university follows a credit hour system that allows students to select modules each semester under academic supervision. Its academic model emphasises flexible progression and interdisciplinary study pathways, with English used as the primary language of instruction across most programmes.
King Salman International University offers a wide range of undergraduate programmes across medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, engineering, computer science, artificial intelligence, basic sciences, veterinary medicine, agriculture, tourism and hospitality, and applied languages. These are delivered through 13 faculties spread across its three campuses.
Engineering provision includes programmes in mechanical engineering with mechatronics, electrical engineering with renewable energy and communications, computer engineering and artificial intelligence engineering, alongside architecture and related applied technology disciplines.
